How can I prolong the life of my cushions?

Where possible, we recommend storing your cushions indoors during winter (such as inside a shed or outbuilding) to protect them from any harsh weather. If this is not possible, we advise using a protective furniture cover and storing any cushions in a cushion box.

Do I need to do any regular maintenance on my cushions?

Simply brush off any loose dirt and debris using a soft bristled brush or a vacuum cleaner on a gentle setting.

What happens if I spill something on my cushions?

Spot clean any spillages by gently blotting the affected area with a clean cloth or sponge, using a solution of mild soap and lukewarm water. Refrain from scrubbing harshly, as this can cause the stain to spread. Afterward, rinse the area well with clean water and let it air dry.

Can I machine wash my cushions?

We advise handwashing polyester cushions by rinsing them in a bowl of warm, soapy water and then a bowl of plain water. Machine washing is at the customer's discretion and would need to be done on a very gentle cycle to avoid the risk of shrinkage or distortion. MINT cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by machine washing cushions.

Can I deep clean my cushions?

For more thorough cleaning, simply use warm soapy water. Use a sponge or soft brush to apply the water to the fabric, gently working it in. Afterward, rinse the area well with clean water to eliminate any soap residue, then let the fabric dry completely in the air.
