A note from the designer

Give your Chesterton set a new lease of life with this replacement set of cushions. Containing a combination of seat and back cushions, you can instantly your furniture so it looks brand new. As well as being kinder on your bank account, it’s also a more sustainable alternative to purchasing an entirely new furniture set. Better for you, better for the planet. Each cushion is made with a soft, olefin material and chunky foam filling measuring 10cm in thickness.

Cleaning & care

How can I prolong the life of my furniture?

Where possible, we recommend storing your furniture indoors during winter (such as inside a shed or outbuilding) to protect it from any harsh weather. If this is not possible, we advise using a protective furniture cover and storing any cushions inside.

Do I need to do any regular maintenance on my cushions?

Simply brush off any loose dirt and debris using a soft bristled brush or a vacuum cleaner on a gentle setting.

What happens if I spill something on my cushions?

Spot clean any spillages by gently blotting the affected area with a clean cloth or sponge, using a solution of mild soap and lukewarm water. Refrain from scrubbing harshly, as this can cause the stain to spread. Afterward, rinse the area well with clean water and let it air dry.

Can I machine wash my cushions?

We advise handwashing cushions by rinsing them in a bowl of warm, soapy water and then a bowl of plain water. Machine washing is at the customer's discretion and would need to be done on a very gentle cycle to avoid the risk of shrinkage or distortion. MINT cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by machine washing cushions.

Can I deep clean my cushions?

For more thorough cleaning, simply use warm soapy water. Use a sponge or soft brush to apply the water to the fabric, gently working it in. Afterward, rinse the area well with clean water to eliminate any soap residue, then let the fabric dry completely in the air.

    Olefin is manufactured using small molecules of propylene that link to create longer chain molecules which are melted and ran through a machine to produce a thread that is then spun into yarn and woven.

  • EASY TO MAINTAIN

    One of the reasons that Olefin is so great for garden furniture is that it doesn't absorb stains and moisture. This means you don’t need to clean it so often and when you do, it’s easier than ever.
