Do I need to do any regular maintenance on my Olefin cushions?

Simply brush off any loose dirt and debris using a soft bristled brush or a vacuum cleaner on a gentle setting.

What happens if I spill something on my Olefin cushions?

Spot clean any spillages by gently blotting the affected area with a clean cloth or sponge, using a solution of mild soap and lukewarm water. Refrain from scrubbing harshly, as this can cause the stain to spread. Afterward, rinse the area well with clean water and let it air dry.

Can I machine wash my cushions?

We advise handwashing polyspun cushions by rinsing them in a bowl of warm, soapy water and then a bowl of plain water. Machine washing is at the customer's discretion and would need to be done on a very gentle cycle to avoid the risk of shrinkage or distortion. MINT cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by machine washing cushions.

Can I deep clean my Olefin cushions?

For more thorough cleaning, simply use warm soapy water. Use a sponge or soft brush to apply the water to the fabric, gently working it in. Afterward, rinse the area well with clean water to eliminate any soap residue, then let the fabric dry completely in the air.

Get outdoor cushions that fit like they were made just for your furniture, because they are. Our custom outdoor cushion configurator lets you enter the exact dimensions of your furniture so you get a precise, made-to-measure fit every time.

Choose from comfortable, supportive seat cushions plus two distinct back cushion styles:
• A single-stitch design with a soft, curved edge for a relaxed, softer look
• A block-style back cushion with a clean, square shape for a more structured feel

Plus, you can choose from three different fabric options: Black, Beige and Grey.

Once you've decided on a style and a colour, simply enter your dimensions to get your custom price and purchase your cushions.

    Olefin is manufactured using small molecules of propylene that link to create longer chain molecules which are melted and ran through a machine to produce a thread that is then spun into yarn and woven.

MEASURING GUIDE

Getting the right measurements is the key to a perfect fit. Because each cushion is made to your exact specifications, we recommend measuring carefully and double-checking all sizes before placing your order as custom-made cushions are non-refundable.

What You’ll Need

  • A tape measure (preferably metal for accuracy)
  • A notepad or phone to record your measurements
  • A flat surface and, if possible, a second person to help

Seat Cushion Measurements

You’ll need three measurements:

1️⃣ Length (Left to Right)

Measure the full width of the seating area from one side to the other.
Minimum: 30 cm | Maximum: 200 cm

2️⃣ Width (Front to Back)

Measure from the very front edge of the seat to the back where it meets the backrest or wall.
Minimum: 30 cm | Maximum: 200 cm

3️⃣ Thickness (Height)

Decide how thick and plush you’d like your cushion to feel, then measure the vertical space available.
Minimum: 10 cm | Maximum: 40 cm

Back Cushion Measurements

The same three measurements apply to both back cushion styles.

1️⃣ Length (Side to Side)

Measure the width of the backrest area you want the cushion to cover.
Minimum: 30 cm | Maximum: 200 cm

2️⃣ Height (Bottom to Top)

Measure from the seat base up to where you want the back cushion to finish.
Minimum: 30 cm | Maximum: 200 cm

3️⃣ Thickness (Depth)

Choose how far you’d like the cushion to sit out from the backrest.
Minimum: 10 cm | Maximum: 40 cm

Measuring Tips

✔ Measure in centimetres (cm) not mimimetres or inches
✔ Keep the tape measure straight — don’t follow curves
✔ For built-in seating or tight spaces, allow 0.5–1 cm tolerance for easy placement
✔ Double-check all numbers before ordering. Custom cushions are made to order and cannot be resized or refunded.
✔ If your furniture has a lip, frame, or arms, make sure your chosen thickness will still allow the cushion to sit comfortably without being squeezed.
✔ If you're purchasing replacement cushions for a corner set, be sure. to measure the corner cushion separately, as it is quite likely to have slightly different dimensions to other seat cushions.
